Alterman has a part in some of both San Antonio and Austin's most historic landmarks and impressive contemporary structures. The company now has four locations and thousands of employees.

In 1984 Alterman became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Employee ownership reinforces the company's superior service and commitment to customer success.
