Alaska Rubber Group (ARG) is a 100% employee-owned wholesale company headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska. ARG was founded in 1980 under the name Alaska Rubber & Rigging Supply, Inc., with a single store located in Anchorage. Since then, through a series of acquisitions and expansions, ARG Industrial has expanded its presence to comprise five branches in Alaska, six branches in Washington, and one branch in Oregon. These strategic acquisitions significantly enriched the company's expertise, industry knowledge, and the range of products and services offered to its customers. All 12 ARG locations serve as retail and wholesale distributors of industrial and hydraulic hose, fittings, and related products, catering to various markets, including agriculture, marine, oil & gas, construction, mining, OEM, fishing, and government agencies, among others.  In 2006 Alaska Rubber Group became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This transition was pivotal for ARG and helped establish an ownership culture built on integrity.
