Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) is a 100% employee-owned engineering company headquartered in Mount Pleasant, Illinois. The company was established in 1966 by Norman L. Scott with the primary mission of providing structural engineering and management services to the construction industry. Over the years, the company's services expanded significantly, encompassing parking and transportation consulting and concrete restoration engineering. In 1985 Consulting Engineers Group became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). CEG proudly operates as an employee-owned company, ensuring that all employees across the affiliated CEG Companies have the opportunity to participate in ownership. Today, the CEG Companies collectively employ nearly 150 employee owners who operate under a shared mission and collective success.
