In 1983, HdL began their tenure of service to public agencies as Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates. The HdL Companies has expanded its horizons, forming partnerships with local governments throughout the United States. This expansion has seen the firm diversify its portfolio to encompass an extensive array of public agency revenue management services including the recovery of misallocations, tax and fee administration, economic development, indirect cost recovery, local tax software solutions, and cannabis compliance.    In 2007, HdL became employee-owned when they established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
