Jasper Electric Motors, a subsidiary of Jasper Holdings Inc., is an employee-owned company that is headquartered in Jasper, Indiana. They started out as a small shop that sold a variety of new electric motors and provided rewinding services for small industrial agricultural applications. Today, Jasper Electric Motors is also a full-service facility dedicated to the rewinding and repair of industrial motors up to 60,000 pounds and beyond. In 1987, Jasper Electric Motors became employee-owned when they were acquired by their parent company, Jasper Holdings Inc., who implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As employee owners, they take responsibility for the quality of work and customer service they provide.
