McGuire and Hester, a subsidiary of Harbor Linx, was founded in 1926 by two Irish immigrants, Mike McGuire and Mike Hester. Together, their vision has spanned nearly a decade and includes some of Northern California's most notable landmarks and infrastructure projects. In 2003, McGuire and Hester became employee-owned when its parent company, Harbor Linx, implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Their mission statement is, “Together We Build Things Right.” This statement encompasses their business philosophy as well as values and culture. With a team environment that focuses on the greater good, resulting in a fantastic place to work that positively impacts McGuire and Hester's community and business partners.
