Parametrix is a 100% employee-owned engineering company headquartered in Puyallup, Washington. Parametrix was established in 1969 in Sumner, Washington, by Waite Dalrymple and George Capestany under the name Delta Engineering, with an initial focus on wastewater-related activities. The firm quickly expanded, branching into six distinct business divisions by 1974. Subsequently, two of these divisions, Delta Engineering and Seattle Marine Laboratories, underwent a restructuring and emerged as Parametrix. Today, Parametrix comprises 750 employee-owners with a presence in seven states across the western US. The firm is dedicated to helping clients envision and achieve what is attainable.   In 1992 Parametrix became employee-owned when the founders transitioned ownership to their employees when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
