Parametrix was established in 1969 in Sumner, Washington, by Waite Dalrymple and George Capestany. In the early 1990s, the owners began considering ownership transition options to plan for the future of Parametrix. They determined that forming an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) would allow the company’s culture to remain intact and provide a secure future for the employees and their families. Parametrix was established as an ESOP in 1992, and through regular sales of the owners’ stock to the ESOP trust, became 100% employee-owned in 1999.
As a 100-percent employee-owned firm, our people have a vested interest in strong performance and exceptional client service. Individually and as a team, we are committed to providing high quality, cost-effective solutions that enable our clients to make informed decisions.
Today, we have a team of engineers, planners, scientists, landscape architects, surveyors, project managers, and construction managers across the United States.
