The company was founded in 1939 as the Paramount Fruit Export Company and has since become a leader as a quality produce exporter. Today, Paramount has a global presence representing growers in the US, Turkey, New Zealand, and South America. They also have two international offices, Santiago, Chile, and Turkey. In 1999, Paramount Export Company became employee-owned when it established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Its employee owners work closely with growers and packers to maximize their returns and opportunities. Retailers, importers, wholesalers and distributors in more than 40 countries appreciate Paramount Export’s reliable service, and attention to detail.
