Providence Engineering is a 100% employee-owned engineering company headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Providence Engineering specializes in providing a comprehensive range of design and drafting services encompassing Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects for various construction projects. Founded in 1992, Dan Fichtner started in the company in his basement. Over their 30 years in business, Providence Engineering has grown to operate seven locations in Pennsylvania and one location in Tampa, Florida. In 2021, Providence Engineering became employee-owned when it established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Becoming employee-owned has helped the company further its founding mission of providing engineering solutions that serve their clients, their employees, and the company. The ownership culture at Providence Engineering supports ongoing training and educational opportunities to empower personal and professional growth for their employees.
