Schier Products is a 100% employee-owned manufacturer of grease interceptors headquartered in Shawnee, Kansas. The company was founded in 1950 by Ed Schier. Ed was a Milwaukee plumber and started Schier Products in his garage. To this day, every product from the company is made in the United States. Schier Products became employee-owned in 2022 when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Employee ownership ensures that the culture and values of the company remain in tact across generations.
