Southwest Automated Security (SAS), is a 100% employee-owned distribution company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company was founded in 1996 with a single location as a non-installing wholesale distributor for gate operators, access control systems, telephone entry systems, CCTV and peripherals for all types of applications. Today, the company boasts 19 locations throughout the United States. In 2011, Southwest Automated Security became employee-owned when they established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). SAS attributes its growth to creating and maintaining excellent relationships with its vendors and customers.
