SRC Automotive, Inc., a subsidiary of SRC Holdings, was founded in 1974 in Springfield, Missouri. SRC Automotive remanufactures engines and assembles gasoline engines for the automotive, marine, and industrial industries. SRC Automotive became employee-owned when its parent company, SRC Holdings, implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 1983. As owners, employees have a stake in the business. Because of this, employees are motivated to provide the highest quality products and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
