Swissturn is a 100% employee-owned manufacturing company headquartered in Oxford, Massachusetts. The company was founded in 1987 and specializes in manufacturing small, high precision parts necessary for the manufacturing of critical components. During their 30 year career, Swissturn has strived to be a leader in the Swiss screw machine products industry. Today, the company operates out of a 25,000 square foot facility that has allowed them to expand and optimize their operations. In 2015 Swissturn became employee-owned when it established its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Becoming employee-owned has offered stability for their employees, vendors, customers, and their local community. With a strong ownership culture, employees at Swissturn participate in open book management which gives employees an understanding of how the company is performing. Armed with this knowledge, employees can make informed decisions about how to do their jobs better and more efficiently.
