Founded in 1994, T&S Structural has dedicated itself to safeguarding its clients from the potential devastation of future seismic events. Founders Steve Taylor and Rye Syfan embarked on this journey after departing from prominent positions at a Santa Monica firm. United by their vision, they established an independent structural engineering design firm. Their portfolio includes projects in custom residential, commercial, civic, healthcare, K-12 education, college/university, military, industrial, and energy/utility sectors. In 2007, T&S Structural became employee-owned when the company's principals decided to transfer ownership to its employees by implementing an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). This strategic move was aimed at rewarding, empowering, and cultivating a truly collaborative design environment. As employee-owners, they acknowledge that their people represent the company's most valuable asset.
