West Wing Writers is an employee-owned management consulting company headquartered in Washington D.C. Their mission is to help good ideas get heard, good organizations lead meaningful change, and good people make a difference in the world. Founded in 2001, the firm specializes in strategic communications, messaging, and speechwriting—and helps its clients to shape, share, and amplify their stories.  With Washington and New York offices and a hybrid-publishing division called Disruption Books, West Wing Writers is home to nearly 50 strategic writers and communications professionals, including former speechwriters to U.S. presidents, vice presidents, governors, and cabinet secretaries. In 2023 West Wing Writers became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Ownership Stock Plan (ESOP). The transfer of ownership reflects the company’s people-centered values and culture, enhancing the team-driven, outcome-oriented approach West Wing Writers brings to its portfolio of clients in business, philanthropy, politics, arts and entertainment, and sports.
